As a photographer, it was so fun to capture the amazing costumes and makeup on stage during this production. I can't wait to see and photograph Coastal Youth Theater's next production this spring: Hairspray Jr!

An amazing team led by Director Natalia Salsbury put this show together and it was truly a labor of love, from the talented actors to the hard-working crew and dedicated parents volunteers. The cast of 30+ ranged in age from 8 through high school, and performers train throughout the year in acting, voice, dance, and even theater history.
Coastal Performing Arts Foundation is a wonderful non-profit that I've had the pleasure of working with the past several years. Their theater company Coastal Youth Theater stages two productions each year and they are nothing short of fantastic. Past shows have included Annie Jr, Fiddler on the Roof Jr, Beauty and the Beast Jr, and Legally Blonde Jr (to name just a few). Their shows are usually sell-outs and are always greatly enjoyed by their audiences. Last month they performed the musical Aladdin Jr. at the Clark's Center's Studio Theater and it was vibrant, colorful, and magical, and hilarious!
