Sam is a great example of how a no-fuss, low-maintenance senior guy can dress for their senior portrait session. Sam's wardrobe of choice usually consists of shorts and athletic wear, but he elevated his look a notch for his session with two different collared shirts and a slightly dressier pair of tan jeans. And sneakers were a must. He looked terrific....casual yet put-together.
Sam was such a fun and easy senior to shoot with! Since he is a Class of 2019 San Luis Obispo High School senior, he opted to start his session on the campus of SLOHS. And being a soccer player, I thought we should get a few shots on the stadium bleachers.
For the second half of Sam's session, we drove to nearby Cal Poly to shoot at the buildings in the College of Science and Math. The clean lines and contemporary architecture make a great backdrop for portraits.

Sam has played soccer for San Luis Obispo High School throughout his time there. But he is not just an athlete. He's an excellent student as well. He received an a academic scholarship and will also play soccer for Cal Lutheran University in the fall. I'm so happy for him to be able to pursue his passion of soccer while studying in his chosen field of sports analytics!
